Futures Forum: Otter Rotters: Stop community composting being crippled by disproportionate government agency fees
here's a note from Sustainable Ottery about how to support Otter Rotters:
Otter Rotters are in fact still collecting garden waste whilst fighting the fees! They
will continue to do so until they find a way forward with the Environment
Agency. In their search for a solution to the
problem they have to apply for planning for a new site. Do you have any
experience in planning applications? If so Otter Rotters would love to hear from
you please. Please contact Mandy at mandy.jennings@btconnect.com . If they have to reduce or
remove their service in the future they will consult with the public first.

They will also be promoting their service and
highlighting the absurd situation they find themselves in at the Environmental
Exhibition on October 12th at the Church [in Ottery St Mary] so do pop along and give them some
moral support.
