Friends of the Byes: fortnightly planting sessions start Saturday 11th January

Friends of the Byes Volunteer days.

The Byes is a beautiful place and the extra effort FOTB volunteers make, help add to that beauty. Please come and join in on all or any of the dates below.

• Saturday 11th January 2014 Meet in Community Orchard, Sid Meadow, The Byes. 10am until Midday. 

To plant fruit trees.

• Saturday 25th January 2014 Meet in Community Orchard, Sid Meadow, The Byes. 10am until Midday. 

To plant fruit trees and wildlife hedging.

• Saturday 8th February 2014 Meet in Community Orchard, Sid Meadow, The Byes. 10am until Midday. 

To mulch fruit trees and plant wildlife hedging.

• Saturday 22nd February 2014 Meet in Community Orchard, Sid Meadow, The Byes. 10am until Midday. 

Light pruning of Apples and Pears.

• Saturday 8th March 2014 Meet in Community Orchard, Sid Meadow, The Byes. 10am until Midday. 

Plant Alder and Willow saplings to help prevent erosion.
