SidEnergy has been sent an invitation to a big event happening next month in Exeter:
We have been sent the following Invitation (see attached flyer)
from
Exeter Community Group which looks like a great weekend:
"We have a very
important date for your diaries. On 17th and 18th May
Exeter Community
Energy are taking over Exeter and much of the
surrounding area to kick
start their energy future with the Big
Community Energy
Weekend.
"We've got green open homes around the city and beyond, an energy
fair
at Montgomery School, plus the launch of our first community owned
solar project. Ben Bradshaw will be opening the event, and as well as
all that there'll be tours of some impressive eco buildings including
Montgomery School and Bicton Earth Institute, a café with tea and
cake,
activities for the kids, plus a big party on the Saturday night
at an as
yet top secret location in town.
"More info will be available soon -
there's truly something for
everyone. Together we are making community
energy a reality and in
doing so reducing our bills, combatting fuel
poverty and addressing
climate change."
