District Council: vote on restricting public speaking..... Weds 4th June

Following the District Council's decision in mid May to restrict what Councillors could bring forward for debate at full council:

... the scrutiny committee has recommended to cabinet to restrict what members of the public could bring up at planning meetings:

The Cabinet will be meeting this Wednesday 4th June to consider this proposal:

Development Management Committee public speaking arrangements and future agenda and meeting management: 

Council agreed on the 9 April 2014 that the Committee should consider and debate the arrangements for members of the public wishing to speak, agenda, and meeting management of the Development Management Committee (DMC).
