Energy-switching from SidEnergy: Sat 14th June

In the latest newsletter from SidEnergy, there's plenty of good, practical advice:

“Show Us Your Bills” Energy Switching Workshop

Are you confused by your energy bill or with the whole process of switching and working out which is the best deal for you? Perhaps you don’t have internet access or would just like some friendly impartial advice?

Then come along to Sidmouth community market in the St.John Ambulance Hall on Saturday 14th June 2014 between 10:00 and 13:00 and meet members from SidEnergy. Bring along a years worth of energy bills and we will do the number crunching for you and hopefully be able to show you the best deals that are out there for you.

We don’t bite, are fully house trained and very friendly to boot! We may even be able to advise you on other issues like loft insulation, cavity wall insulation or even solar panels!

Please Note We are only an advisory body, we will supply you with any relevant information but the final decision to switch will ultimately lie with you, you are under no obligation to switch to any supplier or act on any information supplied by SidEnergy at the workshop.

We will do everything possible to complete the consultation on your first visit, however if we cannot do this then we will arrange a mutually agreed date to complete the consultation.

People Are Switching

Last month we announced the setting up of the “Good Energy affiliate partner scheme”. The good news is that people have started to switch and so far the feedback is very positive.

Other members have found that “Ovo Energy” met their needs and have switched to them. We are currently in the process of negotiating a deal with “Ovo Energy” that would benefit the community.

Good Energy can be contacted on 0845 456 1640 and quote the affiliate reference code GE2235. Good Energy’s website is www.goodenergy.co.uk/affiliates/sidenergy

Good Energy supplies 100% green energy and has been voted No’1 Energy Retailer by Which Magazine, they and their call centre are based in the South-West giving jobs to local people. Good Energy is committed to supporting “Community Energy” projects like ourselves and for every customer switching to them they will make a donation to SidEnergy.

Disclaimer: SidEnergy is not responsible for any outcomes of switching to Good Energy.

We Need Your Help! – Can You Recommend A Supplier or Fitter?

Last month we asked you if you have recently had solar panels installed, had any insulation work undertaken, or any other “Green” technology work completed on your property? We also asked if you were happy with the work and would you recommend the firm or installer to other SidEnergy members?
A big thank you to all those people who have replied so far, we are now starting to compile a list of trusted companies.

If you would like to recommend a company then there is still plenty of time to email your recommendations with a brief description of what you had done and why you are recommending them to info@sidenergy.co.uk Thank you.
