As already reported:

Futures Forum: VGS - AGM: Weds 18th June: "The future of Sidmouth"

.. the Vision Group's AGM kicks off tomorrow evening.
Here's the agenda:

What Next for Sidmouth?

Ideas for the future of Sidmouth and the SidEnergy Share Offer will be the topics for tonight.

Sidmouth Town Council is asking residents, and especially community groups, to come up with suggestions for improving Sidmouth, Sidford, Sidbury and Salcome Regis. Funding from new developments is being collected across East Devon and the Town Council would like to hear about how best to spend any funds locally.
After a brief AGM and a presentation of the Share Offer by SidEnergy, we will be working on suggestions to pass onto the Town Council.
  • how would you improve Sidmouth for the residents and for visitors?  The Town Council brief includes: what would attract more visitors to the area? make them happier? encourage them stay for longer? what about local young people? or older people and facilities for them?
  • the Town Council is especially interested in the vies of local community groups hence we would like to end up with a ‘wish list’ from the attendees, to be forwarded to Sidmouth Town Council.
We will meet at Kennaway House Cellar Bar at 7pm on Wednesday 18 June 2014.
