District Council: final full council meeting: Weds 29th May

Two weeks ago, the final Cabinet meeting was held - with no 'controversial decisions' made:
Futures Forum: Who should determine 'strategic planning' in East Devon? part two >>> Cabinet decides to defer the decision to "have a separate committee for planning policy issues until after the elections in May 2015"

The final full council meeting before the 7th May elections are to be held tomorrow evening:
Agenda for Council Wednesday, 29 April 2015; 6.30pm

Most of the meeting will be a matter of signing off the minutes of Cabinet and the council's committees - but members of the public will still be able to raise any questions.

These are the observations from the East Devon Watch blog:

FINAL FULL COUNCIL MEETING: WEDNESDAY 29 APRIL 2015, 6.30 P.M.

21st April 2015

Final full council meeting of the current council will be on Wednesday 29 April 2015 at 6.30 pm at Knowle.

THIS WILL BE THE LAST OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PUBLIC TO ASK QUESTIONS OF THE CURRENT COUNCIL – GET YOUR REQUEST TO SPEAK IN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF YOU WISH TO SPEAK

Agenda, which consists mostly of minutes of previous council committees and presentations to retiring councillors, is here:

Anyone attending might check that the old guard does not take this opportunity to make outrageous political statements or even decisions!

Methinks many more councillors will be leaving than those retiring!
