The Hopper Bus >>> a success looking to expand >>>>> But "don't we really need a permanent town bus service?"

There have been concerns about the way traffic is managed in and around Sidmouth for tourists, visitors and locals - all within the context of ensuring a vibrant local economy:

Mention was given to the Hopper Bus - which has been an incredible success story:

... although in the comments to last week's piece in the Herald, the point was made that the bus still has a limited remit:

Don't we really need a permanent town bus service, especially now that Stowford is about to become our principal medical centre? Seaton manages one, as do other small towns in East Devon. As usual Sidmouth fails to get it right.
