Exeter Community Share Offer

Could you help publicise this offer?
ECOE hopes to raise finance to put Solar PV panels on 9 large roofs, community or council owned and Shillingford Organics.  These installations, if they go ahead, have a generating capacity of 300kW and could save 2,575 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.

The share offer is open now, offering investors an expected return of 5%, and in addition expects to pay £250,000 into a fund for community projects over 20 years .  The minimum amount to go ahead,  £50,000, has already been reached; the aim is £390,000 on this and the subsequent share offer.   This offer closes on 27th November so that investors can count up to a third of their investment against tax (EIS).  There will be a second offer in the New Year, without this benefit.  Details including the share offer document are available on the ecoe website.

The launch party at Stephen Scown solicitors, Southernhay, is tonight Tuesday at 6.30 - 9 pm and will also have documents available.

Applications can be made online using a BACs payment. If you wish to pay by cheque you can download and print out the application form here. All you need to do is fill it in, sign it and send it back to us with a cheque made out to Exeter Community Energy Ltd to: ECOE Ltd, 3 Redhills, Exeter, Devon, EX4 1TP

You can also obtain paper copies of the share offer by ringing 01647 24789
