The County Council has put together an application for its planned cycle/footpath between Sidford and Sidbury:
Futures Forum: "Planning application to be submitted for Sidbury to Sidford walking and cycling trail"

This was presented to the Town Council last month:

An e-mail was sent out today by the Planning, Transportation and Environment Department at Devon County Council:

The attached document relates to a planning application recently received by Devon County Council at Land adjacent to A375 from Hillside, Sidbury, to Laundry Lane, Sidford
Town and Country Planning General Regulations 1992 - Regulation 3

Approximately 900m of cycle/walkway, typically 3m in width with associated fencing, landscaping, bridge and boardwalk on land adjacent to the A375 between Sidbury and Sidford at Land adjacent to A375 from Hillside, Sidbury, to Laundry Lane, Sidford

I am writing to inform you that this application has now been withdrawn. Thank you for your interest in this matter.

It is understood this has been withdrawn because of the unexpected inclusion of the business park at Sidford by the planning inspector:
