Sidmouth Arboretum >>> spring events and projects

On its annual Tree Day, the Arboretum will be hosting a full programme in Sidbury:
Futures Forum: Why Trees? >>> the Arboretum at Sidbury: Weds 11th May

The Arboretum meets once a month - offering a drop-in service:

We now meet on the second Tuesday of every month 5.30- 7pm and all are welcome to ask questions, find answers, learn what we do and want to do. Occasional trees and shrubs available. We meet at the Leigh Browne Room, side entrance to the Unitarian Meeting Hall in the centre of Sidmouth, across from Tesco and the Post Office.

Next Saturday, SATURDAY 7 MAY 11am – 5pm we will join SEA FEST with a small stall on The Ham                          

We have a drop in session on 2nd Tuesday of the month TUESDAY 10 MAY 5.30pm- 6.30pm at Leigh Browne Room of Unitarian Chapel, opposite Tesco.   Do drop in for information/advice/guidance on the benefits of tree planting.

We are meeting at the Village Hall in Sidbury:

2pm   Hugh Angus, dendrologist, will lead a stroll;
2.45pm George Pidgeon, secrets and skills of hedge-laying;
4pm  Louise Woolley, ecologist, all about pollination: Trees for Bees
Ewan Anderson: Tree Drawings.  
Try your hand at a Treevia quiz to win a bottle of whiskey.  

Refreshments available.     Free entry.     See you there!
