Sidmouth Sea Fest >>> Saturday 7th May >>> reports

Last weekend saw another SeaFest happen:
Futures Forum: Sidmouth Sea Fest >>> Saturday 7th May

It went very well indeed:
What a glorious Sea Fest!

Did you spot the Best Dressed Crab Sea Fest themed window displays? Here are a few pics, there are a couple more to come in...thank you to all the shops that got into the Sea Fest spirit - most are still there to see. Fantastic Community Spirit all round!

Congratulations to Lyn Bagwell, winner of the first ever Sidmouth Sea Fest Cake Off!
2nd place went to Kay Davies
3rd place to Seline Rogers and runner up was Louise Cole!
Fabulous sea themed entries. Thanks to Stuart White, Head Chef of the Victoria Hotel for his excellent judgements! Stuart based his decisions on design and taste, all entries were numbered not named.
Apparently many who had not heard of the competition were disappointed and have laid down the gauntlet for next year's competition, bravo!

Wow what a fabulous day at Sea Fest yesterday. So many people commented on what a lovely friendly community atmosphere. Thank you to volunteers, stall holders and everyone, there was such a good will to help out and a great sense of a relaxed fun day. A few photos here to start with...

And from the Herald:

The third Sidmouth Sea Fest took place at the Ham recently. The sunny weekend weather helped to bring out the crowds to the Sidmouth springtime festival. See this week’s Sidmouth Herald two page spread and order your prints by clicking here.
