Last night, the Town Council's planning committee met to consider the application for Knowle:
Futures Forum: Knowle relocation project >>> public invited to attend Town Council planning committee >>> Weds 1st June

And last night, the committee rejected the application - as posted on the Streetlife site:

The members threw this initial application out, let's wait and see what happens at EDDC

The grounds for rejection included:
> Mass and scale of proposed development.
> Change of use from C3 to C2, which would mean that the developers would not be contributing to the CIL (formerly S106) levy for affordable housing.
> Loss of amenity.
