Sidmouth traffic flow map

Here's a handy way to see how traffic is 'flowing' - although 'fast' is not necessarily a good thing in a built-up area:

Google Maps

You can also look for 'bicycle-friendly' routes...

View traffic, satellite, terrain, biking, and transit

With Google Maps, you can see things like:
  • Traffic for your commute
  • Transit lines in a new city
  • Bicycle-friendly routes
  • Satellite imagery
  • Information about the landscape

Get traffic, transit, bicycling, satellite, or terrain information

  1. On your computer, open Google Maps.
  2. In the top left, click the Menu Menu.
  3. Select TrafficTransitBicycling, or Terrain.
  4. At the bottom, you'll see more info.
  5. To turn off a view, click it again.
