A Neighbourhood Plan for the Sid Valley: publishing survey results and writing draft policies

The Neighbourhood Plan steering group have produced an interim report, covering material on Port Royal:
Futures Forum: Neighbourhood Plan > interim report on Port Royal >>> "A focus on community space" >>> "Repeated narrative comments supported this approach as opposed to a development which is weighted towards commercial and housing purposes, stressing the importance of community and visitor use."

This is based on the latest survey - which is currently being analysed in its entirety, ready for publication, as this blog entry from the NP website indicates:

Summer and the Neighbourhood Plan

All the data from the final household consultation which ended in June has been analysed and over the summer the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group will be using this to produce a report which sets out what the 1863 respondents told us, which we expect to publish in September.

The team will also be using the data from this and earlier consultations to write draft policies which will form the basis of the Neighbourhood Plan.
This is an exciting time in the evolution of the Neighbourhood Plan and we will be providing regular updates over the coming months.
In the meantime, many thanks for your continued interest in this important piece of work.
