The Lost Arc of Rhayder > turning an Old Drill Hall into a Venue. Arts Centre. Café.

A correspondent has been on holiday in Wales and has taken a couple of photos:

Apparently:

The Old Drill Hall (now The Lost ARC) has been an integral part of Rhayader and its community for a couple of hundred years, albeit under different names and with different functions.

There's a burgeoning website and active Facebook page - inviting you to a new arts centre and venue:

The Lost ARC. Venue. Arts Centre. Café. Rhayder, Mid-Wales.

We took on this amazing building with the intention of taking it back to its musical roots; re-establishing the main hall as a music venue and a cinema. The people of Rhayader have many fond memories of times spent here and we would love to create new memories for future generations.
In addition, we have plans to open a small café to nurture both the body and the spirit: it is our intention not only to offer quality food and drink, but also music and art.
We will also be offering space for rehearsal, teaching and recording as well as a workshop upstairs for use by local residents.
We are well underway with our plans and always welcome people to come and have a look around.
