Plans for Port Royal: an alternative view: a new campaign: an online petition > The '3Rs' vision to "retain, refurbish and reuse" > delivering petition to full District Council: Wednesday 25th October

Earlier timetables for how the regeneration of Port Royal would happen seem to have been rather optimistic:

Now things have been set back by some weeks:

The 3Rs campaign have put together a petition:

And tomorrow, they intend to deliver this to the full Council:

For all those interested in the future of Sidmouth’s eastern seafront:

The 3Rs petition calling on Sidmouth Town Council (STC) and East Devon District Council (EDDC) to consider an alternative approach for the regeneration of Port Royal – Retain, Refurbish, Reuse– has gathered well over 1800 signatures. The petition was delivered to the Town Council on 4th September 2017.

THERE ARE NOW TWO NEW DATES FOR YOUR DIARY:

Wednesday, 25th October, Knowle Council Chamber, Sidmouth, EX10 8HL. Assemble for photoshoot, from 6.pm. Placards must be left outside the building. 3RS petition will be delivered to EDDC Full Council Meeting which starts at 6.30 pm.

Monday, 6th November. Port Royal is on the agenda for the Sidmouth Town Council meeting at St Teresa’s Hall, Connaught Road, Sidmouth, EX10 8TT, starting at 6.30pm .This meeting gives the opportunity for residents to let the Council know what they want to see at Port Royal, before a decision is made.
