Campaign Update 9

We are holding a public protest in Sidford against the proposed Business Park on 23 July.

The Salty Monk has kindly allowed us to meet up in their car park. Please support this public display of opposition to the Business Park. The press will be covering this event.

Please let anyone you know who is unhappy with the proposed Business Park know about this and encourage them to come along.

We have started to obtain signatures on our petition opposing the Sidford Business Park planning application. The petition will be handed in to East Deon District Council ahead of it considering the planning application.

Yesterday we started going door to door in Sidford and received overwhelmingly positive reactions on the doorstep. We will be continuing to collect signatures during the rest of this week. This evening we will also start to collect signatures in Sidbury.

Many thanks to those who volunteered to help with going door to door.

If you have yet to sign the petition come down to the campaign stall in the Market Square in Sidmouth. We will be there on this Saturday (14 July) and also on the following Saturday (21 July).

Please also copy and paste this link and share it on your Facebook page and also send it to friends and family by email.

We are only asking those who are agreed over 18 and live in the EX10 area to sign the petition.

If you would be willing to get friends, family and/or neighbours to sign the petition a copy is attached so that you can download it and print it off.

We are having some poster board signs printed which we are asking those who live in Sidford and Sidbury to volunteer to allow one to be put up outside your property. We can supply a stake to hold it up and to erect it for you. The boards are a similar size to those used by estate agents. If you are willing to have one of these boards please email us.
