Let’s have a piece of good news 🙂

We are very pleased to report that our survey demonstrates the quality of the original build of the Drill Hall and.....

.......restoration is easily within reach.......

Naturally it has quite a bit that needs to be done, but the fundamental structure is looking good.

Hoorah!

So let’s get this going. We need help with the following things:

** people who can help us to set up a public meeting to get the community together and discuss and share plans

** someone who would be able to turn our draft website into an active site

** people who can help to research topics. Really anyone who has a bit of time to trawl the internet and come up with solutions to any challenges that we might raise from time to time 🙂 we’d like to build a small research team that we can call on

** recommendations for local contractors to help price the restoration work

Mary Walden-Till While Sidmouth Sunrise has to have its own survey in order to move forward, I would like to let you know that there is also another one which is publicly available. In collaboration with The Vision Group for Sidmouth, Sidmouth Drill Hall Rescue commissioned a report from a Structural Engineer.
