Sidford business park >> campaign group's latest update > "Business park plan: 1,400 sign to say no"

The campaign to halt a proposed industrial estate at Sidford had a very successful meeting this week:
Futures Forum: Sidford business park >> campaign group's latest updates > public meeting Wednesday 10th October > report >> petition, lobby and community purchase

And this was the top story in the latest Herald:

Campaign Update 16

STOP PRESS

Today's Sidmouth Herald has the story of the Campaign's public meeting that was held on Wednesday evening. A copy of the newspaper's front page is below.

It reports on the two key issues that were covered at the meeting -

1. The 1,400 signatures on our petition.

2. The proposal that the Business park site be purchased on behalf of the community to stop any future speculative planning applications.

The story is carried under the banner headline "Business park plan: 1,400 sign to say no".

It really has to be impossible for the District Council to not understand the depth of opposition that there is locally to the planning application!

Once again, thank you to everyone who came to the meeting the other evening and also to all those who have signed the petition.

Best wishes and have a good weekend

Campaign Team
