'Daylight robbery' > how the government wants you to donate your solar power to the energy companies

The campaign group 10:10 has been putting out the message since October that the government wants to make putting solar panels on your roof even less attractive:
Stop the government’s daylight robbery! — 10:10

In its latest newsletter it urges the public to lobby the government to change its mind:

Don't steal our sunshine

On a dark morning a few weeks ago, 60 amazing volunteers rocked up to parliament with the 10:10 team to create Westminster's first pop up solar park. MPs Antoinette Sandbach and Tim Loughton cut the ribbon for the grand opening, and we took the message right to the energy department - don't steal our sunshine!
Just before Christmas, the government confirmed to that, from April, people installing solar will have to give away unused clean power for free to energy firms. It's a long way from over though. If you haven't already, do write to your MP and let them know we want a decent replacement to the policy the government as scrapped!
