Sidford business park >> A PUBLIC Inquiry to be held >> "The appeal will now proceed by means of an Inquiry and not a Hearing"

The Planning Inspector will be hearing an appeal over planning permission for an industrial estate north of Sidford:

A correspondent has notified this blog that the Inspector will be conducting a public inquiry, rather than a hearing. 

There are concerns that the letter sent out by the District Council is rather 'vague': and yet it is clear that this will be a PUBLIC Inquiry, similar to that held for the Knowle appeal sessions:

As the correspondent notes: "Local folk need to be made aware of this, especially with local elections approaching".
