Pennington Point: 1950 and 2013

Following on from
Futures Forum: Pennington Point: 1983 and 2013
there is a further comparison to be made:























This was taken in August 1950 - and can be seen at English Heritage:

This compares dramatically with photographs taken in November 2013:



































"By the curves in the promenade we can see the cliffs have been washed away leaving the bridge exposed. As a result of erosion Salcombe Hill is now more visible from this part of the seafront opposite the Drill Hall."
