The deadline for submissions to the application 16/0669/MOUT for an employment site in Sidford is Wednesday 8th June.
The Futures Forum of the Vision Group has put together several piecies on the application.
> Futures Forum: Sidford business park > Fords planning application >>> 16/0669/MOUT >>> the applicant, the East Devon Business Forum and lobbying for more employment land
> Futures Forum: Sidford business park > Fords planning application >>> 16/0669/MOUT >>> E9 - Town Centre Vitality and Shopping Areas: "The establishment of new shops which are outside defined town centres or which would extend the shopping areas will not be permitted if they would harm the convenience, vitality or viability of the town centre."
> Futures Forum: Sidford business park > Fords planning application >>> 16/0669/MOUT >>> Strategy 3 Target: "Reduction in the number of permissions granted contrary to the advice of the Environment Agency"
The VGS submission will focus on the risk of flooding in the light of new evidence from the Environment Agency:
Futures Forum: Sidford business park... and flooding: "Right now there are more questions than answers about how the new climate change guidance is going to be implemented. But be aware: this guidance is already a material consideration for all new planning applications and therefore, a valid reason for planning objections."
This is the preliminary set of comments from the FF of the VGS, based on the above:
