and just received from the Vision Group:

With us having been subject to an onslaught of extremely high winds, high tides and record breaking rainfall, Climate Week is very timely. This runs from 3rd to 9th March, and is Britain’s biggest climate change campaign, inspiring a new wave of action to create a sustainable future. The VGS and SidEnergy are hosting an evening of talks and discussion on Friday 7th March in the Cellar Bar at Kennaway House, Sidmouth from 6.30pm for a 7pm start, during which the Met Office will discuss what they believe will be the impact on the South West. They will be joined by a speaker from Devon County Council who will talk about how they are planning for Climate Change. Also during the evening there will be a presentation on Fracking: Golden Goose or Dead Duck? and an introduction to SidEnergy showing ways in which anyone can benefit from home energy generation and energy savings technologies. This is a free event so please come along.
