- In Exmouth Journal the week before last,, comment was made that demolition work had begun on Elizabeth Hall before the expiry of the period in which a Judicial review can be lodged. East Devon Alliance has been told on very good authority that a firm of solicitors are pursuing judicial review procedures on behalf of client. Watch this space!
- East Devon Alliance is reliably informed that some property owners in Trefusis Terrace have received enquiries from EDDC as to whether they would be willing to sell off some of their 'front gardens'. We think this property would be in the vicinity of the rear of proposed Splash hotel- could it be for an access road to the hotel? It begs a number of questions, not least of which are is Madeira Walk under threat and isn't that area protected from development? We wait for EDDC to keep the public fully informed.

Questionable planning practices seem still to be a regular practice at EDDC despite a recent history that should have led to them recognising the dangers of 'behind closed door' deals.
