Sid Valley cut price energy deal offer

Friday, December 20, 2013

A NEW community energy company for the Sid Valley has made a Christ5mas offrer to resident worried aouih their hills.

SidEnergy's expert team will, free of any charges or commitments, help the first 20 respondents to negotiate lower pricers with their existing energy supplier or switch to another who can offer a better deal.

They particularly want to hear from people who believe they are in fuel poverty or from friends, neighbours or relatives who are concerned about someone they know.

SidEnergy has also announced it has opened discussions with a West Country-based independent energy supplier who can offer lower prices than any of the 'big six' firms. Group chairman Duncan Hasell said residents could save up to £200 a year as a result. More on the arrangement will be revealed in the new year and discussions are ongoing.
