A fortnight ago, the NEF formally launched its Blue New Deal at Parliament:
We had a great event last Thursday at the House of Commons to celebrate and discuss the future of coastal communities, the coastal economy and the marine environment.

We are now focused on achieving two things:
- Maintaining the momentum and increasing the level of awareness and action for coastal issues in the UK; and
- Supporting the different ideas outlined on the Blue New Deal action plan so that more projects become a reality on the ground.
