Friday, January 17, 2014
A YOUNG entrepreneur from Sidmouth has seen his dream of a product from small local town turn into a national success story - and all while keeping his day job.
Tom Seward, 25, went from drinking cider to making it 16 months ago and has not looked back, writes Stefan Gordon.
His Annings Fruit Cider has spread from his hometown throughout the South West and is now supplied to hundreds of stockists across the country...
Last year, Tom told his story at the British Young Business Awards:
The award ceremony was held at the prestigious Mayfair Hotel and was hosted by Apprentice finalist and founder of The Baker Shop Luisa Zissman, the Secretary of State for Business and Innovation, MP Vince Cable, who also spoke some inspiring words during the ceremony. The evening was made all the merrier for the delicious cider provided by Annings Fruit Cider.
