Friends of the Byes raise more than enough for sowing and planting wildflowers in Sid Meadow

Following on from the good news:
Futures Forum: Keith Owen Fund award for wild flowers in Sid Meadow
here is the latest newsletter from the FOTB - with even more good news:

Dear Friends of the Byes

As you may have heard, Keith Owen Fund has kindly awarded Friends of The Byes £640 towards the £740 cost of planting more wildflowers in Sid Meadow this year.

Many volunteers gave up their Saturday morning to ‘Shake a box’ in various locations throughout Sidmouth to help raise the small difference.

Due to many locals donating generously we have hit our target, raising an impressive £231.21

Any extra funds will be used to fund more wildflowers in the Byes.

If you do feel able or willing to donate anything to this year's wildflowers please send a cheque to:

Friends of the Byes
