a particular 'solution' being considered by Transition Exeter is the housing cooperative:
Building a Sustainable Housing Co-op in Exeter
The growth of Exeter will see the construction of some 12000 new homes over the next 10 years.
> Could some of them be built to high ‘eco’ standards and managed in a truly sustainable way?
> Could a few of them be truly affordable to live in now and into the future?
> Could a number of them be built and owned by the community?
We think so and have set up a housing co-operative to achieve these goals.
If you’d like to be part of the foundation of this project – with a view to moving in or because you think this is the way housing should be developed come and find out more.
