Back in February 2014, the County Council put on a display as part of its public consultations on plans for a cycle/walkway between Sidford and Sidbury:
Futures Forum: Sidford to Sidbury walking / cycling trail >> exhibitions >> Weds 19th and Thurs 20th February
Last month, an alternative set of plans were presented by the County:
Futures Forum: "Planning application to be submitted for Sidbury to Sidford walking and cycling trail"
This has now become a formal planning application - which involves three separate properties:
15/2843/CM | Approximately 900m of cycle/walkway, typically 3m in width with associated fencing, landscaping, bridge and boardwalk. | Land Adjacent Sewage Works (A375 Between Sidbury And Sidford) Two Bridges Road Sidford
These plans will be taken on by the Town Council next month:
Meeting of Sidmouth Town Council’s Planning Committee
