'Autumn Wonderland, a focus on fruits and foliage'
SATURDAY 19 OCTOBER
MEDICINAL PLANTS : the science behind herbal remedies
Anne Stobart, lecturer and consultant medical herbalist from the Medicinal Forest Garden Trust will give us an opportunity to have hands on experience in identifying plants, to see a variety of herbal preparations and to gain some knowledge about key plant constituents and their medicinal actions. From historical recipes to modern pharmacological research, both adults and children can learn about safety and herbal medicine.       Based at Kennaway House, free entry 11am -5pm.
