Transition Town Exmouth: welcoming 'sustainable development' on Exmouth's seafront

The proposed development on Exmouth's seafront has not been without controversy - especially in the early stages of 'consultation':

Again, it's had its critics:

Moreover, proposals to move several beach huts have not been universally welcomed:

Nevertheless, Transition Town Exmouth has sought to work with the District Council:

And TT Exmouth is doing so within the larger vision of 'sustainablity'.

The main point of interest being
- apart from Exmouth enjoying a ‘Community Organisation Liaison Panel’ and the Splash development taking on a developer with ‘environmental and community credentials’
- is that the facility will be run by a ‘community interest company’.
