We are hoping to form a small group of individuals/ households who wish to raise pigs in the Crediton area. Raising pigs is surprisingly straightforward to do, and there are quite a few other pig share schemes around the country who can provide details of best practice.
What can you expect? A half share in a pig would provide a substantial freezer load of at least 20-25 kg of pork joints, chops and other cuts and products in late autumn. What do you need to do?
