The focus of this year’s Natural Seaton Festival on Saturday (July 15) is to celebrate the natural wealth of the town and the Axe Valley
The main attraction will be a visit from residents at the Hawk and Owl Sanctuary.
Amongs the 36 stands present will be Devon Wildlife Trust, Plymouth University and the Seaton Wetland’s team, ensuring a full day of activities and events.
Visitors can find out more about the birds, butterflies and bats, plus other wildlife that can be seen locally. Also visiting this year are baby goats from Manor Farm.
There will be willow weaving, fossil fun and many other children’s activities to keep the family entertained, as well as a barbecue and other refreshments.
The festival, organised by Seaton Visitor Centre, runs from 10am to 4pm.
The following day, Sunday, July 16, Stuart Line Cruises will run 50 minute boat trips along the Jurassic Coast, leaving Seaton seafront at 3pm and 4pm.
These are always popular so organisers say it is best to pre-book, with tickets available from the Seaton Visitor Centre Trust stand at the Natural Seaton Festival, from the TIC inside Seaton Jurassic on the Underfleet or Seaton Print and Design, Fore Street. These venues can take cash or cheque only.
For card payments contact Stuart Lines 01395 222144 /www.stuartlinecruises.co.uk
There will also be two additional cruises on Sunday, August 6, at 11.30am and 12.30pm.
