Take the business park land at Sidford out of the Local Plan

The application to build an industrial park north of Sidford has been rejected - but matters are still not closed:
Futures Forum: Sidford business park >> campaign group's latest update > "speaking to contacts about how best we can approach any potential appeal by the applicants"

The issue being that there is provision for more 'employment land' in the District Council's Local Plan - but many have pointed out that it should never have happened - and that the way in which it happened was dubious to say the least:

The District Councillor who has done most of the work to raise awareness of the issues is now calling for the provision to be taken out of the Local Plan completely:
