The application to build an industrial estate is still to be examined by the planning authorities:

District Council officers are not keen:

Neither is the local MP:

The campaign group has been busy:

Here is their latest update, issued today:
Campaign Update 13
A date for your diary!
The Campaign is holding a public meeting on Wednesday 10 October at 7.00pm in St Peter's Church Hall in Sidford.
The objective of the meeting is twofold -
1. To update residents on what activities the Campaign has been undertaking since its last public meeting at the beginning of June. We have been very busy over the summer and we will be able to demonstrate that much positive activity has been undertaken over these recent months.
2. To inform residents of the next steps that we are planning to take in the Campaign. We will be making a couple of important announcements that we believe will demonstrate the depth of local opposition to the proposed planning application for the Business Park.
We hope that you can join us at this meeting as the Campaign moves forward.
Please also encourage your neighbours, friends and family to come along.
Best wishes
Campaign Team
