The consultation on proposals for the County's hospitals closed yesterday:

A correspondent has done further research into the financial details requested from the Devon CCG

It appears the average bed cost at the Royal Devon & Exeter hospital is £479.71 
compared with £381 at Tiverton 
and £244 at Sidmouth.

At about half the cost of Wonford (Exeter), the Victoria (Sidmouth) the least costly inpatient's service in the area.

Excluding overheads: £378.8

This is based on 2015/16 costs and activity and is Not netted off with any non-patient income from the ledger.
